A Roman Bath
Today we visited Bath and the Roman Baths. I have to say it… the Roman Baths were a little bit disappointing for me. I think the reason for this, is that I had romanticised it all in my head and on arrival it didn’t quite live up to expectation. I had expected the water to be crystal clear and that I might be able to dip my hand into the warm waters, where once Romans bathed and languished.
However, Bath is a beautiful town. We took ourselves out for a nice lunch and strolled the streets taking in the ambience of a town getting ready for Christmas.
