It’s been a long time coming but I am finally about to open my E-Store.
It’s been a challenge - working through a variety of decisions and challenges with setting up an online store, from the printer to use, to sizes and paper selection.
Now based in Adelaide, I am using local photo lab, Atkins Pro Photo Lab and whilst there is a range of papers available, I have selected two types of papers (after a series of test prints). I have chosen a traditional photographic paper and a high end fine art paper. From a quality perspective, it is really important to me for my images to look their absolute best! And, Atkins really deliver <3
With framing, I can have my works framed as Atkins offer a framing service. This will take an extra period of time but if you aren’t in a hurry for a high end finish (as they hand make the frames) then it will be worth the wait.
Alternatively you may choose to organise your own framing.
My hot tip is that I have historically used The Frame Shop https://www.frameshop.com.au . They have a large range of frames and allow you to create bespoke options. I’ve used them for my historical printing / exhibition needs etc.
My e-Store will be a work in progress, but I am so excited to be able to get it started.
So watch this space!!! :)
